I have lived in Worcester for around nine years now, after falling in love with the city — and my husband — while at university!
Throughout school, I have loved creating and exploring through music, dance and art. I’m inspired by nature, atmospheric light, colour and quiet moments. I studied Art at A Level, but since then I have been self-taught, and I’m enjoying continuing to develop my practice and learn throughout my 20s.
I’m quite new to the society, but I have loved getting to know everyone. It has been great to explore lots of new approaches and mediums, and to work outside of my comfort zone.
Previously, I worked very precisely with sketches and pencil crayons. However, over the past few years, I have loved working in a much looser and more expressive way with acrylics, oils, pastels, and, sometimes, illustrative sketches or digital painting.
I sell paintings through my website and social media, primarily in acrylic and oil. I also take commissions across a variety of subjects.
My goal is to become a professional painter one day!
